2 hand held shots merged in photoshop - taken from the palmetum in Santa Cruz Tenerife - the mountains of the Anaga region in the background - Auditorio de Tenerife - Opera house - in foreground
Briefly - I've built a 4x2x3 feet high box, with a strong timber frame and lined with fibre-glass sheet backed with heat mats then insulated with celotex. Glass doors on the front all sealed with silicone. Overhead led grow lights and a 2 inch flue to aid air exchange and vent the air out of the room.
Electrics - heaters, thermostats, lights timers and circulation fan. Plant list - Bromeliads - Orchids - Ferns - Lycopodium - Selaginella. Growing media - Sterilised soil / coir / peat / bark chips / cork granules / expanded clay I think it will take several months to establish. Time will tell... |
